This month, our Corner Bar is filled with peaches! Peaches are a worldwide favorite. Probably a good reason that our Sparkling Peach Non Alcoholic Wine is also a favorite during the warmer months. This month's entry is a wonderful combo of fresh fruit, some tasty sides and of course, one of our popular Carl Jung Alcohol Free Wines!
Peaches are great in anything...ice cream, fruit salad, cookies, you name it. None of them have anything on this great summer drink!
Combine the sugar, 1/2 cup water, vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar is melted. Transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour.
Combine the vanilla sugar syrup and chopped peaches in food processor and process until smooth. Put some of the puree into the bottom of 4 Champagne flutes, or a pitcher. Top with cold sparkling wine and garnish with sliced peaches and mint sprigs.
Want to make this more frosty? Freeze your peaches in advance!

The most important part of any sangria is making sure that the wine and the fruit have some time to mingle and get to know each other before the party. We recommend putting the fruit in a large bowl and adding the Riesling 3-24 hours before your party. Just cover and refrigerate. When it's time for the party, add pre-chilled Mousseaux!
Always keep your wine covered before serving. Even if you're soaking fruit...keep that in a sealed container.
Also remember to use crushed ice in the glasses rather than the punch. No sparkling wine can survive melting ice.
There are no hard and fast rules for Sangria. You can adapt this to whatever fruits you have on hand and even use frozen fruit in months where fresh fruit isn't available.
